MPV'S

To this end I purchased an MPV which is licensed to carry up to six passengers, however I do say that 5 passengers with luggage should be considered the maximum for safety and comfort reasons. Additional luggage transfer can be arranged. The vehicle is equipped with climate control, CD player, individual rear seat lighting, power points for lap tops and mobile phone charging, darkened rear windows and has the capability of swivelling the front captains seats through 180 degrees to provide a mobile conference centre. On pick ups from airports we supply chilled water and any other specified needs for the clients. The service is aimed at the executive level of transport. All drivers are either retired grade 1 police drivers or those specially selected and approved by me.

Being a retired police officer I am still subject to the Official Secrets Act and can therefore offer secure transfer of sensitive documents or packages to industry and military establishments. The intention is to give a service that is a cut above the rest, using old fashioned standards of quality and service, although registered as a private hire operator the service I provide is more in line with chauffeur standards.

Long Distance Travel/Tours

I specialise in long distance travel such as airport, dock & station transfers as well as day trips and organised personalised tours. I frequently travel to France, Ireland & the Continent where I have vast experience.

I am pleased to quote for family tours, which are custom designed for the individual group and their needs. I have contacts with specially selected hotels and ferry companies, which supply a high standard of service to myself and my clients.

Dax Travel was founded in February 2000 when I retired from the police. After a great deal of research it was decided that the modern MPV was the vehicle that had the most potential to provide safe, comfortable and reliable carriage of passengers.
